Kentucky DerbyMay 3, 2008Vernell was caught by the cameras while showing off a Grace Mark original on the sidelines of the Kentucky Derby. The photo showed up in the Louisville Magazine, April 2008 edition. Vernell attends every year to bring the lovely chapauex of Grace Mark to the ladies attending the Kentucky Derby. Black History Month in Roswell, GeorgiaFebruary 1-29, 2008Vernell Washington is always a big participant in the City of Roswell as it celebrates Black History Month every February. One of the biggest events is the Annual Tea & Hats Show at the Archibald Smith Plantation. The Tea & Hat Show is Saturday, February 9th and 16th. Each day has two teas - at noon and a second seating at 2:30pm.
