October 19, 2005 - Roswell Garden Club Tea

The Grand Diva provided Grace Mark hats for the fashion show at the Roswell Garden Club's annual Tea fundraiser. The Tea was covered by the AJC and featured in the newspaper's Sunday, October 30th "On The Town" section. Vernell is pictured in the article wearing a Grace Mark hat with feathers.

October 1, 2005 - Roswell Women's Expo

Black History Month was celebrated at the Smith Plantation during the Roswell Women's Expo. Grand Diva produced a fashion show featuring Grace Mark chapeau designs.

September 10, 2005 - Reflections of Elegance

Reflections of Elegance is the annual fashion show and luncheon put on by The Women's Society, St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church.

The Grand Diva represented Grace Mark, Chapeaux Designer, as one of the vendors.


August 25, 2005 - Smith Plantation Champagne Reception for Grace Mark

The Grand Diva brought Chapeau Artist and Nigerian Designer, Grace Mark to the Smith Plantatoin for a one of a kind champagne reception on August 25th.

Ms. Mark, a twenty-five year veteran of hat couture, autographed hats purchased at the reception.

May 22, 2005 - Mayfair

The Grand Diva introduced Grace Mark to Atlanta society and celebrated her twenty-five years in the chapeau business. A wine and cheese event with limousine service demonstrated "True Diva Style".

February 5 & 12, 2005 - Smith Plantation Exhibit "Ladies and their Hats"

The Smith Plantation hosted an exhibit about the history and importance of hats to African-American women as part of Roswell Roots 2005.

The Grand Diva participated in a Tea and Hat Fashion Show at the Plantation on February 5th and 12th and was featured in the Roswell Neighbor and Alpharetta Neighbor newspapers on January 26th.
